The people behind Akratos
We’re Nicholas O’Connell and Julius Reich, the founders of Akratos. We both study at Bocconi University in Milan. Our backgrounds span entrepreneurship, applied AI and business research.
Co-founder
Before Akratos, Nick developed the business case for enterprise AI adoption at StatisticaMedica, contributing to its adoption of Claude Enterprise across research and reporting workflows. That work gave him experience with how AI is introduced into an established business. He studies International Politics and Government at Bocconi University in Milan.
Co-founder
Before Akratos, Julius co-founded Vivora, a direct-to-consumer haircare brand, and Uppoint AI, where he built AI systems for e-commerce clients. That experience shaped his interest in turning complex problems into practical tools people can trust. He studies International Economics and Management at Bocconi University in Milan.
